Main airport to city transfer options
Meitetsu from the airport is usually the cleanest first move for central stays. The best transfer only changes when your hotel sits awkwardly beyond the station spine or you arrive late enough to value a direct ride more. Nagoya is easier than its reputation if you respect the station-city split. Treat the castle side, Sakae side, and station side as route blocks instead of mixing them randomly.
If you land late or with heavy luggage, paying a bit more for the simpler route can be the better travel decision.
