How transport works in Kitakyushu
Match the route to the shape of the city, not just the map.
- Group the day by area
- Use the simplest transfer
- Let walking and transit support each other
Public transport and walking are recommended
Kitakyushu works best through one core route plus one deliberate Mojiko extension, not scattered all-day movement. A direct transfer into Kokura is the cleanest first move because Kitakyushu weakens when the base sits too far from the station-and-castle logic.
Most transport problems come from forcing too many district changes into one day rather than from the system itself.
