Choose anchors, not a checklist
Start with Hongya Cave and build outward only if the day still has room.
- Anchor the day around Hongya Cave or Jiefangbei.
- Keep Yangtze River Cableway for the right weather and timing.
The strongest attractions plan in Chongqing is selective. I would make Hongya Cave the first anchor, add Jiefangbei or Liziba Station if they sit naturally nearby, and save Yangtze River Cableway for the right timing instead of forcing it.
The practical rule is simple: Jiefangbei and Hongya Cave first, Liziba or Ciqikou as a separate block. That keeps the day grounded instead of making it feel like a loose checklist.
